Listen, I'm alright with people playing shit games. I probably play a lot of games that people on here hate with a passion. but playing TF2...there's really no excuse for. It's abhorrently bad. I mean, you just posted a weapon that has a different skin, and said your disappointed. So you're disappointed that your skin, among the thousands of other skins, is not what you'd hoped it to be. I really don't get it. Why play a game, and spend money (I can almost guarantee you've spent money on tf2) just so you can gather cosmetic items? The gameplay has been the exact same since the game came out, with he only exceptions being the slight changes to stats on weapons, and the absolutely ridiculous amount of hats and accessories. How can this at all be fun?

The game holds up well gameplay wise. There are some new modes here and there but you can still see the game that came out in 2007 in the modern day TF2. It's a bloated mess and I get the feeling ValVe are going to drop it if TF2 matchmaking isn't a success. The quality of the updates recently have been pretty shit and at this point the community is doing most of the work in creating the content.
Hat collecting is fun for the people who like to play an economy minigame in trade servers where you try to out-Jew the competition for the shiniest hat with the best particle effects.
The game has it's moments, when it's not crashing to desktop that is.
I genuinely didn't think there was anyone left playing TF2 at this point.

I'm disapointed with the axestingher change. It's useless now, I would have preferred it the old nerf at least it was useful.
I can kind of see why the phlog change came around, it stops people from capping while under the lol 90% damage reduction taunt.

I can see the reasoning, I agree it is dumb and should be changed. The problem is what do you change it too?
You have to have some sort of taunt to go with it. If the pyro could just activate crits at anytime without stopping it would be stupid powerful.
If you don't have any damage resists it's trivial to kill before he gets close to you. The phlog as a whole needs to be changed.

Goddamn this Christmas update is a letdown. I know it's not realistic to expect Valve to give an eight-year-old game the same attention they used to, but I'd rather Valve just stop updating it altogether then find new painful attempts to further clutter up this zombie game.
