I want to complete affinity quests as soon as possible, which means I switch between members a lot. Now everyone is lagging 10 levels behind me, even Elma-Lin is like 5 levels behind.
It kind of feels that after level 20 the game stopped being the party effort, and it's mostly just me soloing everything either on foot or in a skell with others being dead. It kinda sucks.

I actually feel like the class system was a step backwards from Xenoblade. It looks deep at first, but it feels like most of the classes are total shit without support skills/arts from other classes. So many of the party members have garbage weapon combinations too. At least Xenoblade had a handful of characters that had unique gameplay, like Melia or Shulk. They really should have consolidated the party members and given them unique classes and skills.

Let me let you kiddies in on a little secret. Daddy Takahashi has NEVER finished a project in his life. Never.. Xenogears was incomplete. It literally had its storyboard in the game. Xenosaga was cut short 3 games early. Even Xenoblade was unfinished with the Bionis Shoulder, Tyrea not becoming a party member like originally planned, etc. XCX will not get a sequel, his recent comments in TIME already made that clear. At the top of sylvalum there's a trio of level 60 lizards in the water. You should be able to take them out with a team of 30 skells or possibly on foot.
And once you get a 50 skell or two there are those half-buried assholes near the same area that act as a second EXP boost.

The first disc is awesome.
Then they ran out of time/funding.
The second disc is maybe 5-30 minutes of cut-scene, boss battle, cut-scene, boss battle, repeat until you get to the option of going to the Final Battle or playing the overworld a bit.
Now, those cut-scenes? They can be boring, but good FUCK is it a comfy/freaky story. Those boss battles? One of them involves an entire city turning into a giant mecha to beat-down another giant mecha.
Yes, a City-Mech. And it is awesome.
But not as awesome as going off into the overworld. Lots of little things to find, including Citan wielding some kick-ass swords (like a certain older brother in Xenosaga), Emeralda being able to hit puberty and NOT looking like a joke in battle, LOTS of things.
Sadly, it's "Episode V", and based loosely on the Book of Deuteronomy - just as the other episodes (which you see flashbacks of during the game) are based on Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, and Numbers. There was also supposed to be an Episode VI, but not even the Perfect Works went into detail about that.

Each head break can drop the scalp, or blood; and the body drops it on kill at a reduced rate as well. So just double break, kill him, teleport back to 312. If the day becomes late, there is a time manip point just northwest of the FN.
Aeviter Star Wing: Travel to Sylv's FN site 406, or 408; find the sandsprint passage between the big cliff. It should be just down the hill from 406. In the passage, about half-way through, there's an opening up on the side of the wall. Fly in here, go to the back, and break the wings off the big Aeviter. When you've broke his wings, kill him, then kill his two defensive Aeviters next to him in the same manner. With the Ares 90, melee swings with the sword break the wings in 2 hits each, then hitting the tail breaks in 1~ hit. Once you've killed them, 2 should spawn near the entrance to the cavern, do the same to them. If you're the only one in the room, and behind the boss, he doesn't really seem to attack you.
