The fact that it's unfinished and resorts to making you repeat missions again in Chapter 2. Not to mention it leaves so many loose ends for being the last game in the series
Open world takes away from the uniqueness of MGS imo, It turns into "walk to this outpost, tranq and fulton everything, repeat" It has none of the interesting sneaking parts the older MGS games had, and a disappointing lack of boss fights

That is not a specific mission. Rank is mostly about speed. You can play like a massive gun-totting retard that massively fucks up but because you finished the mission quickly you got an S rank.
For the codenames (like foxhound) the reqs are just plain broken.
Let's not even start talking about the AI where you can clear an entire base by just throwing out dummies on top of eachother or every other aspect of the game that is shit.

There was cool ways you can think up of sneaking, but it just doesn't have the charm of tight corridors, large industrial areas with plenty of rails to hang over, secret areas with useful items, and all that other good stuff I've come to know from the MGS series.
It's just a big fucking field with a watch tower every kilometer and 2 big outposts, there's hardly anything unique about it

The first chapter was solid, the second chapter is when shit started getting dumb and they gave you copypasted missions and then it ended abrubtly after doing some old missions on a higher difficulty with you replaying the first mission with an extra scene added at the end of it.
The game wasn't even completed, which has been proven several times.

Nah he is cool with Patcher that doesn't mean you have to agree with everything someone else says. Kyle talks more like someone that cares about the medium rather than Patcher that talks about the numbers. That doesn't mean that Kyle and Patcher couldn't be on friendly terms, on some of the last Patcher shows you see he is joking in a friendly way with Kyle a lot of the time.
