Game also had no purchase appeal and was fun pretty much only for the mutiplayer. Case and point, of those of you who have played this game, how many of you bought it yourself at full price?

It's my favorite gamecube game, i wish it had more released besides that DS game
The only one I remember was the Gamecube one. That game was fairly hard for a kid. All the cool parts were locked away. I know there was one for DS. Did that come out in the US? It was a very low key franchise. They could have given it some life in the US by putting Ray 01 in Smash. But they didn't. So it' s dead.

Yeah, you are probably thinking of LBX. It's pretty cool. Got it because I was thirsty for Custom Robo, thought it'd be custom robo fischer price edition, but I was completely wrong. Surprising depth and a pretty interesting story paired with a ton of content. I think I spent around 40-something hours on just the main story alone, and then you unlock a shit ton of postgame stuff.

That's true for the GameCube designs which where over-designed and shit, the ones from the ds and 64 games where way simpler and had recognizable colors and shapes, go look up some of the models from Custom Robo arena compare them to the models from the GC game.
