I really, really love how the Mirages take an active part in everything. You hear them talking in the dungeons and in the battles. They feel just about as involved as the Mirage Masters themselves. I love it.

Shocked same as freeze, but chance of losing turn is 50-50. Appears from electric.
Dumbing makes character lost his shit literally, sometimes it can turn properly with it, sometimes he's dropping money or uses different skill on enemy.
Charm turn character against party, with healing spells being used on bosses as well.
Frenzy makes all healing shit useless.

I don't know exactly how far and wide the appeal stretches. But what it does good it does pretty fucking good. And I certainly reccommend most to at the very least check it out.

Fire Emblem "Mirages" are being drawn to the real world(21st century Tokyo) because of some magical shenanigans. The Mirages lack their memories and their time in the limbo between worlds have warped their bodies.

Ailments in SMT are fucking destructive.
There's the usual shit like Poison and paralyze.
But then there's mixes on previous ailments.
Petrify makes it so you have massive resistance to everything on top of your normal resistances, BUT you get no actions, and both physical and wind/force attacks can kill you instantly.
Finally there is Bomb.
Bomb is an ailment that does nothing on infliction, but if you get attacked while inflicted with Bomb, you have a chance of dying instantly. If you die like this, your entire party takes damage equal to the HP the exploded party member had before they took the exploding blow.
Naturally, most of the things that resist Bomb naturally have shit for HP, and demons with Bombsa are rarer than demons with the "Heal all ailments" spells.
