It's alright - its an simuarcade, it simulates some functions of racecars but its still arcade as hell with the way the cars slide around.
It does give a good experience of what it is to be a racing driver to gaymers with pads. Also the AI is alright.

Definitely Gothic - the writing in Risen is painfully boring and the story felt very streamlined and forcing you down one road with little room for RPG, Gothic has various paths you can walk down with different outcomes for each settlement.

No. In Gothic 3 you'll be using magic as more of a "last resort in case of shitty odds", but it's mostly melee or archery.

Verm isnt worth it. The game is coded by retarded monkies and it spikes CPU's like a mother fucker. Its literally burning them out. The dev's offical response is "use more thermal paste" until we can fix whats doing it.
The character select screen spikes the processors to 95% usage. Its a fucking joke. Im not even sure /how/ they coded it this badly.

Well there's Dawn of War 1, Dawn of War 2 and its expansions, and Space Marine.
Dawn of War 1 is the most traditional RPS, and personally I found Dark Crusade the best, but Soul Storm has 2 more armies, but a much worse single player mode.
Dawn of War 2 is much less RTS but has some cool story modes, If that interests you get Retribution.
Space Marine is a fun (but dead) TPS.
