The game spent too long in the production, it would have been ok in the 90s or early 2000s, but by the time it was released its design choices were outdated. Also, death animation.

Honestly I liked it...I think it did poorly because people were expecting a completely different game than what they got.

It was hyped to no end, and I feel like retarded Halo fans were expecting some kind of shooter and ended up getting futuristic Diablo.
