The 3DS exists. The 3DS not only has a better library than the WiiU with many more IPs, but it also shares a lot of its games, like smash and hyrulewarriors

They're already manufacturing the system. Multiple reports of it happening. Since nobody yet knows if it's a wii u or 3ds successor, might as well wait a bit longer and see. Could be backwards compatible. If you've already waited this long, what's a few more months?
