After the Bayonetta smash announcement, I finally went and beat Bayonetta 2. The ending seemed fairly open to another sequel.
Now that she's getting a smash bump, what are you hoping for in Bayonetta 3?
Sincebayo fucked the god of paradiso and the human world already,who should be the villains next time around?
God(dess) of Inferno would be the easiest answer. She already has to rough up some of her own contracted demons in 2 due to the balance of the world going into disarray after the disappearence of the Eyes and she even takes a trip to hell to deal with the noble demon holding Jeanne's soul hostage, so there's already enough set-up to justify the ruler of Inferno to want to go after Bayonetta.
If anything Bayonetta 2 just closed the loop between the original.

I kinda want the next villain to be humans. With all the shit that happened in 2 with the gods and whatnot, the moral was "Humans will keep moving forward"
Maybe they move in the wrong direction. Taking the Umbran and Lumen history and relics, maybe even angels and demons, and mixing them with human science/technology.
Shit like having to fight actual umbran armors.
Not sure how they'd do the currency and justify human murder though.

There's no worlds left to fuck. She's gone through Paradiso and Inferno already. She hasn't confronted the higher-ups, but it's too late. That ship has sailed. We need something fresher than Inferno.
Some in-between Lovecraftian reality could work, I guess. The tentacles would give the writers a lot of material to work with. Other than that, maybe other religions?

Something I was kinda disappointed didn't come up in Bayo 2 that I hope happens in Bayo 3 is us getting some Lumen Bayonetta.
She's specifically a child of mixed blood. I want her to inherit some Lumen shit from Balder. Could even be like a different style and shit from her usual combat and you could switch between them while fighitng like the weapon switching.
Also, they NEED to give Bayo Balder's spear thing from 2 in the next game. It'd be too cute not to do.
