Basically. I don't know what the hype was. Looked pretty mediocre, but not quite bad. It was just incredibly baron with a crap story and lifeless gunplay. Hunting could have been fun, but there was not enough depth to animal/treasure hunts.
Just like a 2/5 I guess.

It's one of my favorite games of all time, but I agree with you there.
I'd love a sequel on current gen systems but replaying RDR just doesn't sound appealing to me just yet. Maybe in like 5 more years when I've gotten some more distance from it.
