Yeah, it's not perfect but it's worth a play. The main downside of the game is that it should have been much more than what it was, they had the base ideas and designs right but didn't do enough with them or left various things out of the game.

It's fun, just don't play on Hard mode. If you want a challenge play in Moderate. Made that mistake my first run, Hard mode is the same as Moderate only you gain less EXP. The enemy AI is easy enough to dodge so the lack of defence stats is fine but every fight takes ages since you have no damage.

yep.. The most I paid for a game on steam was Trails SC for $30, and that's because it was a direct sequel that I'd been anticipating for a long time.
