It's more of a puzzle game than god game desu.
I like the concept but i think they fumbled it pretty hard, basicaly you control giant and with these giant you create landscape like desert and swamp put resources and each resources produce things between food, gold or iron
Now here come the tricky part, space for resources is limited and each resource has a bonus that trigger if other specific resource are near it, for example chicken produce double food if they are near plants, foxes make double gold if they are near chicken and so on
To make thing more complicated as a village grows they build wonder which generate a TRUCKLOAD of resource but are very picky with their bonus, for example they might build a butchery that triples the amount of food from chicken
And that pretty much the whole game, place resource in a way that produce as many resource as possible and abuse wonders
There a few cool other touches like if you build multiple village and village 1 grow too fast, they become evil and attack village 2 (and then you can stop the attack by stomping their dumb shit) some wonder even requires village to get destroyed as a requirement to be built
The first few games are a lot of fun but it quickly grow repetitive because of the nature of the game, there is nothing to do other than achieve a highscore and unlocking achievement (which give you more powerful resources which is annoying because it effectively cockblock the player)
Most resource also have an evolve tree but sometimes thing evolve in stuff that has a completly different bonus so it can lead to some annoying situation if you don't have the wiki open
The wonder that get build so that at least help into making each game a little bit different

I actually find it to get more interesting with time, since you haveto planahead when ressources further down the tree come into play (like when you need greater aspects to further upgrade something)
Its certainly not a game to pour in 40 hours in one week, but I still like to play one era every now and then, focusing on 2 or 3 achievements to unlock more for the next game.
Overall would buy since it should be dirt cheap and is pretty cozy, you should get easily your moneys worth

Puzzle game with a god theme. I played it for about 2 hours and had done everything the puzzles allow you to do. The rest was un interesting challenge achievements like do X 10 times.

just don't try to get everything at once, play an era and go for 1-3 achievements. Thats if you're further down the road, in the beginning you get one for basically everything.
That way its pretty chill, except if you try the later achievements in a 30 min era.
