Why do you Dislike Sonic? I'd like to here actual opions on why you dont like the series, either it be level design or characters.

I'll start i hate that Sonic Team feel like they need to switch up the formula all the time, stick to what works and build upon. I also hate that there reusing tropes to pander to nostailgia i'd like it if they created something new than Green Hill 2.0

I'm in the extreme minority here when I sayI prefered werehog stages over daytime stages. Daytime stages were full of fucking pits everywhere and sonic couldn't even fucking go underwater. Bumping into something while rolling around at the speed of water-running was insta-death and that's beyond bullshit.

To anyone who hates Sonic, would you say the shittier modern Sonic games and/or fanbase have any affect on whether or not you can enjoy the classic games?
I've never disliked Sonic, I grew up with a Mega Drive and the first 3 games and I have fond memories of all of them. Looking forward to seeing what the new game is going to be like, Sega being so into Classic Sonic all of a sudden is at least a good sign.

Unleashed is by far the coziest 3D Sonic game. The night levels would've been improved a bunch if they removed that battle theme, the music is good enough that it carries the bland combat.

The werehog isn't nowhere near as bad as everyone makes it out to be honestly. I do believe the game should've had more day levels, and that the battle music got old really quick. The one thing I do hate is Eggmanland.
But the music is badass to comfy, controls are tight, and the it's probably the best looking Sonic game in 3D

Why is unleashed hated so? It was literally the most ambitious sonic ever made

>best sonic ost and covers each region with elegance and style
>werehog is the best alternate gameplay yet, has surprising depth to combos
>ending didnt feel rushed
>story had weight and plot wasn't paper thin, cutscenes with development, voice acting, an actual script that wasnt just shitty banter like in colors and beyond
The biggest thing is also the length of the stages. Colors is filled to the brim with forgettable shitty acts that just have you spamming a certain wisp for 30 seconds. Generations modern stages are 2-3 minutes, every unleashed day stage is 3-5 minutes.
Fuck I seriously hate the industry for collectively shitting on Unleashed, one of the strongest efforts ever made. To think that some sites gave it fucking worse scores than 06 is baffling. Unleashed was the last time it felt like there was effort in every area of the game.
