I love this game but it crushes my soul. I want to beat it on my own but I'll likely never accomplish that.
I just wish there were games like it where you could work together with people and not feel like you were cheating yourself of the experience of advancing forward.

well take fish temple for example, or wherever that fish boss is, i thought it was pretty unclear where exactly your placement / timing needs to be and considering that he kills you very quickly it's inevitable to suffer through it until you learn. i wouldn't mind if the gameplay wasn't tedious, in la-mulana every boss is capra demon in terms of damage/trackback.

i played the remake
good game but i had no willpower to continue, i even jotted down several pages of puzzles but gameplay itself was pretty inferior to say castlevania or metroid where i can have fun failing.
and i really doubt i'd finish it without googling solutions at least ten times.
