I multi-task all the time to the point I can't not multi task.
I sometimes play an mmo like tank or heal a dungeon whilst playing an RPG on my other monitor. Or watch streams/tv on one screen etc.
Only if it's a grindy game I don't have to pay attention to, or something I've beaten multiple times.

No, I usually want to put all of my attention on the video game if I'm playing it. Sometimes if it's not real time I'll have a tab of /v/ or something on my other screen. It's a pain to deal with though, since most games don't have windowless fullscreen.

It depends on what I'm playing. If its anything vaguely story oriented I dont so I can focus on what I'm playing. Anything that's not I play letsplays in the background or something on hulu.

For what i meant by boring games is like open world, musou and building games. Games that don't really need your full concentration.
I used to multi-task by watching TV series while playing grindy MMOs with my laptop on my desk next to my monitor.
But I quit doing it after I felt like it messed with me. After a while, it felt like I couldn't just sit down and watch a movie. I had to be grinding in another game. I don't like setting the bar for stimulation that high. I personally feel like people who constantly browse the internet or play games with a twitch stream or let's play up and/or IRC running on another monitor are literal stimulation addicts.
