Oh, shit, nigga! The match has ended and you're in Sudden Death!
What does your main do to ensure victory in this situation? (Smashfags of all stripes welcome.)
Projectile spam
If I don't have that, then try my luck in getting them to hit shield then throw them in any direction.
spam projectiles and keep my distance. bait attacks and counter or grab. unplug opponents control.
Immediately dash attack, get shieldgrabbed, and die, of course.

Roll around like a maniac and keep away until the Bob-ombs begin to fall from the sky and god decides the winner.

My brother and I have an unspoken agreement to play catch. Did you know you can grab bombs when they fall out of the sky? The two of us will simply wait for that to happen and then try to hurl bombs at each other.

Charge up thunder. If they shield I grab if they try and dash attack me fire off an Elthunder.

I bait an attack and use counter.
I'm the guy who moves first. Generally its about 50/50 if I win or not.

Friends and I used to foece SD on Poke Floats and see how long we could dodge the bob-ombs. They would start at Onix; we once got all the way around and back to Whooper.

well my main is Random, so depends who i get
Monado Speed, rush, stop short and roll behind, grab, win
Similar method with Jump if they have easy kill projectiles
either charge my punch or go for throw. No matter what happens I'm not trying to wait for dem bombs.
Basically as soon as the match starts up again.

Wait for the other guy to fuck up or camp on the ledge if it's a projectile spammer
My mains;
>Mario - bair and nair spam and cape any incoming projectiles
>DK - down b or bair, powershield projectiles
>Ness - nair spam and psi magnet to any incoming absorbable projectiles, otherwise powershield
>Lucas - short hop PK fire spam and fsmash and projectiles
Overall Lucas best choice by far
Move to them slowly, wait for an approach and downsmash.

Why?
Depends on who I'm fighting
If they have a projectile I wait for them to use it and reflect it by spinning really hard
If they don't I spam my own projectiles
Megaman has a great time on sudden deaths.
I just throw shit nonstop until someone dies.

This is my problem with Sudden Death, it usually ends up being a cheese fest.
In most cases all you have to do is jump, since most people usually do a side-B, dash attack or a projectile and jumps will clear it.

I'd probably gun for a fair or a grab if pk fire didn't work

When I try to charge the opponent defends and punish me
When I try to be defensive they charge me and kill me
If it's anyone with a sword or longer reach, die like a bitch
Otherwise, nair and pray I don't die like a bitch
