If you're a fan of old late 80s/early 90s anime they're still great classics. I owned the first 3 and vs Blue/Grey on VHS, but once I got internet I just downloaded them and finally got to see 4. GallForce is great too, even all the side stories.
I always recommend Silent Hill 2, but depends if you just want a jump scary game like Dead Space or a deep game that properly gets under your skin. Silent Hill 2 is very much the latter.

Monstrum is a good choice if you like procedurally generated levels and randomized monsters each run.

Most of it is stuff I've had downloaded and watched forever. I just keep it because sometime I might want to rewatch or let someone else watch something.I also don't work, quit my job due to medical reasons, so I have all day to play games and watch anime.
