It gets really boring, but the majority of your complaint is based on how terrible you are at the game.

If it causes so much trouble to you you can do one of those Combat Deployements to remove the NVGs, or change your tactics up a little and use camouflage at daytime. I use the Sneaking Suit mostly for hold ups, and even then it's not that important, you just have to start walking more slowly at >10m instead of at >5m without it
Keep yourself closer to the ground, don't rush things, if you have to take someone out you can always use magazines to relocate them if needed
Avoid getting into the enemies' line of sight, before all. Crouching, throwing yourself to the ground, and crouching back is a good way to cover a distance relatively fast and efficiently, there's also the option to just roll while lying down
You've got a lot of options, m8. Take advantage of that

There are actually a couple of new missions, and apparently you can skip the repeat missions by grinding Side Ops
