When trying to update to 1.05 the installer just stops at either 1.02 -> 1.02a or 1.02a -> 1.03 and reverts the changes made. Any way to fix this?

it's a shit version of Sengoku Rance in terms of gameplay and has a vanilla protagonist and little plot and every character bar the protagonist is a cute girl.
It's fun enough though and the art is great

If you're craving more Sengoku Rance it's probably a better bet to go with Daibanchou Big Bang Age or Kichikuou. Eiyuu Senki just felt kind of empty and lifeless to me.

the PS3 game is 17+ without h-scenes JAP/ENG
some russian ripped the PS3 game script, and jammed it on the PC engine, it became the PS3 (17+) version running on PC
the kind russian hacker tried to save most scenes that he could, so some still there in japanese only
while some scenes got changed to become 17+ and got translated, they are like the PS3 edition

alot, on the pure combat side, the gameplay is different, you can move your units each side is 3x3 grid, it's a in between about sengoku rance and a SRPG (much closer to rance tho)
there are skills that only target middle/back rolls other only front and middle
some are only directly in front, and so on
