I really like Estelle. I'm not sure how to put it but she's so...appealing? Like she's not like other female protags who are either totally and utterly useless and do drama and dwell on them, nor does she have the personality of cardboard, nor is she a parody of "girl power" or a shoehorned attempt on a strong female protag.
She's very entertaining, I enjoy her quips and her soft moments when it comes to Joshua. Even at the end when she's confident that she saves "her man," she still isn't un-likable

Well, I guess I should clarify, in the first game Estelle DOES start off kind of like how she's portrayed in the anime. She's a ditzy amateur who needs to be told basic things like "Fill out this form by signing your name here, etc etc." but the game includes extensive development and, by the end of the first game, she's the unquestioned leader among a group of experienced bracers - In the second game she is awesome throughout, although very emotional for reasons that will be obvious by the time you finish the first. Estelle is a great character.
Anyway, definitely play the games when you get the chance.

It's 70 hours at the absolute minimum unless you're intentionally speedrunning it or skipping cutscenes. It took me about 85 hours and I read extremely quickly and used speedhacks to get through battles quickly, but that was doing all the sidequests and talking to a lot of NPCs. I didn't even talk to half of them though. If you're the type to talk to every NPC all the time, it could easily run you 100-120 hours.

I think I got the highest rank on my previous save file but when I went to the tunnel to do the divine penguin quest using walkthrough I got nothing no boss no xtra bp. In the end I got B rank I also missed out chapter 1 church lesson or shit. That was not even a hidden quest fuck me
It took me about 59 hours to beat SC, and I don't consider that a speedrun (although I did get caught up in the story at some point and skipped a bunch of sidequests)
It was just hard for me to stop the story, I wanted to know more. Eventually I'll do a full-BP run.

Mine is 62 hrs, I kinda talked to everyone when I got to and before leaving a town on every chapter even chapter 8. Though I don't do it every time I progressed main mini quest like the earthquake investigation. God they really like making new dialogues for every npc.
I didn't even rush playing it.
I just wish they wouldn't fuck up with Sen 3, but I'm not having my expectations high because Sen 2 and Tokyo Xanadu were pretty lame (Sen 1 was ok though).
