Kick bombs, throw bombs, punch bombs, charge bombs up, switch between the different types of bombs (Spike, P, Bounce)
There's a lot of material to use too, could have B moves set down bombs in creative ways. Up B jumping up off a bomb, side B throwing a bomb, neutral charging one up while holding it for use with another B move...

They could've been creative and found fun ways to utilize the bombs aside from just throwing them
Like for example, a jump-assist thing where he bounces off a bomb's explosion
Or some kind of special attack where he just wildly nilly lets bombs fly all over the place
Or one where he just pulls out some big ass bomb that's like a timer of sorts
Or he could even take advantage of items, for example using a bomb as a baseball and hitting it into the enemy using the Home-Run bat
It's really all just about how creatively they can think

I've wanted him since Brawl. And that was THE time to add him. A lot of people undermine just how prevalent Bomberman was. I'd say he was on par with Mega Man, and he was a frequent face in my gaming history.
