It's a game that's trying to be a rougelike and a text-heavy RPG at the same time. You can see the problem with this.
The Devs don't seem to want to change the paradox of this game, and from what I saw would actively patch out things that made the game easier for players.
I want to support it because the lore and atmosphere is great, but the gameplay is lackluster and overly punishing.

0 replay value since all other playthroughs are the same with just possibly different crew(you'll probably want to keep the ones you had anyways through perks)
The battle card game they had a long ass time ago was slightly more interesting even though I hated it at the time, now you can cheese just about any enemy by ramming it from behind.
No variety or challenge.
Getting ships and ship upgrades is nowhere near worth it as it makes nearly no difference which are extremely difficult to get without endless grinding.
