The game just seems to stack the thrill of exploration against the player. Time limit, bland maps, reviving mobs that give crap gil and chase you and scare away the people you want to talk to, no idea if new mob will outright kill you (3 star dragon) or take forever to kill (robots) or will be complete cakewalks (every other mob in first town)
The new game+ feature is fine, the story is fine, but goddamn the game puts so many hurdles to the simple task of finding some damn girl's green/not red doll.

Literally what? There's like one little square area with a few similar looking corridors, otherwise the town is easy as fuck to navigate since the streets and plazas are so easy to tell apart.
