I bought a vita just for P4 Golden....ended up buying all kinds of other random shit and now it's my most used console.

I bought a PS3 for MGS4.

It did not occur to me that there were games on the ps3.

I bought it for Monster Hunter 3U. I own a few other games, but it pretty much became a monhan machine.

The closest I've been was a PS3 for MGS4. But really, without it I would have gotten one over the 360 anyways since it just had the more interesting games.

MGS was also the biggest deciding factor when I chose between the DS and PSP.

I bought it for Bravely Default and was complete shit.

Bought a bunch of games for PSP and a couple for 3ds, literally nothing else on the Wii. It's collected dust since the Tri servers closed
