Story mode doesn't get shit, you're lucky if they give story mode some of the new weapons with each update.
GTAV could still be a fun sandbox but there's no car insurance, no new cars, no new masks, no new clothes, no new missions or content.
How hard would it be to just add stuff to story mode when they add it to Online?

the insurance system is retarded and doesnt do anything when everyone has had millions showered on them by hackers. there needs to be something to discourage destroying people in jets/tanks or just stickying every fucker you see so the game isnt just silly military toy arms race. it cant be done with controlling money flow as without hackers the game would be an absurdly tedious and pointless grind where you dont get to experience 95% of the game unless you pay hundreds in money cards or grind for literal weeks for a single item.
the only upside to car insurance being inconsequential is that all the kuruma and insurgent retards have no crutch to fall back on

The best and probably only fix is losing (dropping) inventory on respawn. Another idea is no player icons on the minimap, 'cause those're fucking ludicrous.
The point is that ganging up would become much more lucrative, and even probable because of the potential player scarcity. Albeit, finding players is often as simple as following / listening in on the police, even with the whole HUD off. Players should respawn only at hospitals and police stations (with actual arrests from the police) or maybe even apartments. There would be gear storage in properties for removing items from the inventory, and maybe even some room in cars.Removal of chromatic abberation.
