I don't know how people enjoy these games. Gameplay is jank and boring, not even difficult but tedious. Also it feels like the whole games is incomplete.

Walking through heide's tower of flame, and majula, I realized it's pretty much the ambience and aesthetic that really gets me.
And that part is pretty fantastic in DS2 at points but also happens to be the most bullshit in any souls game IMO.
I wanna play it so bad but everytime I do I'm reminded of all the little shit that ruined DS2 for me. bums me out, looking glass knight looks so cool

The combat is more "realistic" than most games and more tactical, since you have to plan ahead and calculate your moves if you don't want to get killed.
I don't know why you think the difficulty is tedious. Although there are parts in all souls games where it just feels artificially difficult, most difficulty is pretty fair and balanced.

The thing I'll never understand is why they made armor fucking useless in DS2 while also dying fast as shit to everything under the sun. It makes things tense but with the multiple enemies in a single fight it gets tedious as fuckkkkkk. Goddammit why can't I be a well armored knight like in DS1

Theres nothing realistic about this god awful ai, horrible hit detection, or memorizing an opponent that takes 2 steps and then swings and then wrecking their shit because thats all they do.
