It basically looks like a remastered PS2 game, which I guess is the best you could get out of the Vita original without overhauling all of the geometry assets to make environments a little more detailed looking.
They did a nice job on the texture repainting none the less though.
Is this game worth picking up when it comes out over here?
I don't have a Vita so I honestly don't know much about it other than the fact that all the promo art is awesome.

Not for full price. It's a short game and the gameplay isn't fun half of the time because of the boring ass combat. The flying is satisfying but it's overall a pretty ugly game because the color scheme is mostly brown / red.

If Konami didn't go complete tits in the past year and a half I'd have suggested Bluepoint do a non-fucked version of Silent Hill 2&3, and throwing in The Room while they're at it.
I wouldn't mind a PS4 port of Wipeout 2048 I guess so I can play that shit at 60fps with analog air brakes. Maybe even add some content while they're at it since odds of getting a new Wipeout any year soon is bad.

No it wouldn't? Gyro was only used to deal with the shit analogs on Vita for the speed the game needed, mouse solves that. Touchscreen was only used for terrible gravity slide controls and for dodging, which you can keymap no problem (infact they're L2/R2 on PS4).
