I remember when Disney first got their filthy mitts on Star Wars. My sister was watching some dog shit show on the Disney channel and they were going on about visiting George Lucas and then R2D2 showed up standing next to these insipid teenage girl actresses (the kind that constitutes the cast of every other fucking show on the Disney Channel) while the same Dan "Rough Ryder" Schneider laugh track echoed on in the background, and I had to fight every impulse in my body not to traumatize my darling sister by throwing the TV out the window and myself with it.
