That first stage though is an unpredictable bitch. Sometimes I beat it on my first try and sometimes it takes forever. There's just no goddamn pattern to the barrels.

It's such a shame that Mad Maze Maul and Stealthy Snoop only got 5 stages between them since they were the best bonus stage.

The Maze levels actually have several dummied out versions still on the cart, which would explain why they're so rare compared to the more annoying shit.

Busty Barrel Bust up and the dynamite minetrack one were all right, but having 3 beaver bother minigames on the last stage was annoying as hell

I still have a lot of fun with it, and backtracking isn't nearly as big an issue as it's made out to be. If you don't do Troff n Scoff until the end of the level then you're never more than 20 seconds or so away from a tag barrel when you need to swap. Only main part I really remember annoying me is the boat in the middle of Gloomy Galleon with the music switches on the other side but that's because water levels a shit anyway
just finished 101%ing this game.
goddamn there's a lot of shit to find, but it's not nearly as daunting if you just take it stage by stage.
crystal caves can suck a fat one though.
