Depends. If you take a month or so to grind followers or retraining scrolls to get everyone with Treasure Hunter, 3 is the minimum it takes to get around 40k gold by the end of the month. If you farm raids, 2. If you grind mats and make the upgrades/level and sell pets/farm epics and sell them for transmog, you really only need one, as others will make the effort greater than the reward, ultimately.

It's... not as good as I thought it was.
Characters are great, setting is fantastic, classes are cool...
But, that's it.
Combat doesn't feel like a game. It feels like a chore. It feels like I'm just pressing buttons and then watching my actions play out on the screen. It's like I don't really have control of my character. I'm just influencing his actions.
I made a worgen. There were some pretty fun quests. The two horse rides were pretty cool, but what really stood out was that quest where you get to use the cannon to blast 10s of mobs at once. Seeing all of the numbers fly up was fun as hell.
Then... nothing. That short little burst of fun was then drowned out by Kill quest #17.

Who cares anymore?
They completely ruined and raped the game since Cataclysm. They've added tons of cool stuff too, but the damage has been done and is irreversible, the game is no longer fun nor a challenging adventure, it's just a quest grind and queue-waiting experience which has been watered down and allowed literally anyone to complete the hardest raids. Flying mounts also completely destroyed the whole exploration aspect and "giant world" feeling. All the classes have become the same, armour and weapon design is forgettable and then there's the cash shop too. At max level all you do is sit in the capital and wait for a system to queue you.
I'm fucking done with this game. It's ruined and there's no turning back.
I remember when having a epic mount (1000gold) was the hot shit and you were a badass .
