8GB... Thats your problem not with the AMD card. I get an FPS range from 60-70 avarerage with no explosion and 45-60 depending how much the explosion. The new 1.02 helped me alot too

Its not that its easy, its that a lot of luck is involved because of the way ship customization and fleet building works.
