N64 had 380 ish games, and around 120 were regionlocked to Japan and NA.

Original Xbox was a failure all around so nobody wanted it, PS2 was the obvious choice since it had more games and could play DVD's, Gamecube stopped getting as many games because after a few years, they could no longer fit on the shitty 1.4GB Mini-DVD's.
Europe was Xbox for a few years after Sony fucked up royally with PS3, then Microsoft fucked up with Xbox One.
