I'm not saying that one is better than the other, I just have my fill with stat-based combat already.

No, XI and XIV might as well be two totally different genres. XI was more about thinking, teamwork, timing, and positioning with a large importance placed on auto attacks while XIV is basically a WoW clone.
You won't really find action styled MMOs because it just doesn't work with the genre, you can't really have an always online game built for people to play for extended periods of time that require that amount of key pressing, speed, or precision. It's really far too involved for a game that soaks up that much time, the servers would probably throw a fit too.

that's impossible in a large scale MMO environment due to netcode and server stress reasons. what you're looking for is an online game, not a MMO.
