If a Nobody is a body without a heart and heartless is a corrupted heart, why can Sora (who has a body and a heart) exist at the same time as Roxas, his nobody? What did I miss? Where was this explained?
How do non Keyblade wielders travel between worlds? How did all those assholes get to Traverse or Twilight Town or wherever?

Sora became a heartless in KH and because of this a nobody (Roxas) started to exist. Roxas only "lived" when Sora was sleeping after Chain Of Memories and that's why by the end of 358/2 days Riku has to kill Roxas to wake up Sora. So Roxas,Ventus and are inside him and a part of Sora now.
Darkness I guess.

For Riku to have to defeat Roxas to make Sora whole, Roxas and Sora would have to exist as seperate entities at the same time. That's what I don't get.

His nobody was created when Sora became a heartless in the first game. Nobodies aren't just a husk of the old body. They are a new form made, and can coexist with the heartless created, or in Sora's case, himself.
You see this with Xehanort/Xemnas/Ansem all that shit. They are each different bodies created from one form that can exist at the same time in different places.

Rikku and Malefacent and Ansem all used darkness, King Mickey and crew used gummi ships, Capt Hook used his pirate ship. Multiple ways to travel once the barriers between worlds was broken

Darkness or Gummi Ships, mainly. Traverse Town people are there because they lost their world, so they get dropped off at Traverse Town. Twilight Town people I don't know, it's probably just a world where people live like any other Disney world or Radiant Garden.
