the engine was a crutch, lazily modfied and could not render round edges or objects.
I didn't really like it, it didn't really age all that well.

Gud and atmospheric. Nice gameworld interacitvity for the time.
Enjoyable, last bit of the game sorta sucks.
Half-Life: Deathmatch Classic is a shit ton of fun too. Less balanced but I honestly enjoyed it more than Quake.
