As someone who was excited as anyone for that game: It was shit lads.
Bulletsponge enemies, shit netcode, unsatisfying gunplay.
Just a very mediocre game that was hyped beyond all belief. It tried some different shit and fell flat on its face. It set back parkour mechanics in shooters because of its failure. And the parkour shit was really only available to one class.

The only reason I regret buying Brink is that it was released broken and that helped kill the game in about a month.
The game itself was flawed, but I don't think it was bad, and if it hadn't been instantly discarded better maps could have been made.

It's kinda fun, but often annoying. The main campaign of sorts is fucking god awful and any character that isn't pre defined is liable to be utterly shit. But it's fun for a while.

This. Brink had too many bugs and balancing issues when it was released, so I would blame the publishers for making them release it in that state.
As a game, and once the gamebreaking bugs was fixed that should not have been there in the first place, it was a pretty solid experience. In my opinion at least.
The parkour in it is still the best I've experienced in any game and anyone that says the parkour was shit in it either didn't play it at all or only briefly tried it like the retard reviewers that claimed it was bad, despite the fact that light class was literally the only class used in the few competitions it had.
Fuck publishers for rushing shit out.

Diablo 3 was really bad compared to 2, but i still got my money's worth. Played 50 to 60 hours then dropped. Sure as fuck wasn't a playtime i'd expect from it, but enough to not have any regrets.
