Anon the gameplay alone has confirmed this game will be garbage. ASB had (and probably still has) a good amount of play online, and it would've been more popular if netcode wasn't HORRENDOUS and there was a bit more balancing. This game not only forces you to have an A.I partner at all times, but is in huge 3-d arenas where combos are limited to mashing singular inputs and then running around. The story is probably alright, but it's fucking Jotaro eccentric again so who cares.
They switched because it was easier, and they chose to focus more on fanservice instead. They just forgot to make the game fun to play.
