Unfortunately only got into Dark Souls this summer when I got a PS4 and played Bloodborne. Was able to play SOTFS but had to only watch streams for DS1 because I'm a macfag and don't own a ps3 anymore
But my favorite DS moment was realizing zones were hard as shit and bosses piss easy in DS2, while in Bloodborne the zones were fairly easy and the bosses nightmares

This was after I told him I didn't run into capra demon until after defeating quelaag on a blind run which he could not comprehend.

Honestly I feel the opposite, I don't hate Bloodborne, it has a fantastic aesthetic and world, but I just don't care for the 'get in there/revenge system'.
I'm really hoping for Dark Souls 3 to sort of combine how the two work, maybe a bit more maneuverability, but still sort of the same sword and board if you will, while not being too overly "shield > game".

I finished Demon's Souls with ease and was a fucking pro at and here comes Darks Souls and I never made it past the underground skelton area. I gave up never finished DS1, never plsyed DS2, or even bothered to buy Bloodborne.
