Do PSP 1000, 2000, and 3000 models all use the same type of battery?

Pic not very related.
>>
Get the one with the most mahs.
>>
>>320449069
I don't think so
>>
I think you can stick PSP1000 battery into PSP2000\3000 but you wouldn't be able to close the lid
>>
>>320449069
>PSP 1000 use one type

2000, and 3000 use another
>>
>>320449069
1000 and 2000, yes. 3000 has a different design.

Gotcha, but the 2000/3000 batteries are interchangeable?
>>
>>320449282
What he said but you can buy a bigger battery door. Will add a bulge, but the extra battery life is worth it

The "PSP Extended Battery Kit" contained a psp1000 battery (gold text) and 2 big battery doors for the psp2000/3000
>>
>>320449447
yes, you can switch out batteries without a screwdriver or anything
>>
>>320449069
Yes. The PSP-1000's battery was fatter than the 2000/3000's, but you can get a battery cover for the 2/3000 that has room for the 1000's. You can also fold a piece of paper to use as a spacer and use a 2/3000 battery in a 1000. I think there are some models of battery that can't be made into Pandora batteries, but other than that they're interchangable.
>>
>>320449069
If they have they same voltage then you should be fine. 3000 and 2000 have a smaller frame so 1000 bats stick out.
>>
is it worth getting a psp just to emulate? I can find them for around 50 but there's no mention of a memory card. Also is there any reason not to get a 1000 since its for emulating only
>>
>>320449774
The differences between them are the same if you're emulating versus playing psp games.

Buy a microSD to ProDuo adapter instead of a card
>>
>>320449774
50 seem high
>us dollars ?
>>
>>320449774
All psps can have CFW. Also you can get a memory stick duo adapter for a micro SD card for cheap

2000 and 3000 can be hooked up to a tv using a special cable. 1000s won't work.
>>
no,right one its more *fatty*
>>
>>320449958
why would you ever want to do that, at that point use an emulator on your pc
>>
>>320449604
Pandora batteries is old, there's no reason to do that anymore. The newer 2000s and all of the 3000s don't even support them anyway.
>>
>>320449930
$50, are they cheaper somewhere? I dont want to get stabbed by some nigger in craigslist

Unless you're emulating something heavy like N64 games (which PSP barely emulates and only some of the games anyway) there shouldn't be that much of a difference. It matter for homebrew for heavier games like Quake port, but why the fuck you might want it on PSP anyway. 1000 or not doesn't matter for emulating older consoles like NES, SNES and such. First and foremost look at console's condition: scratches on screen, dead pixels is #1, controls stick properly working is #2, condition of the hull is #3. Its hard to get 1000 in good condition though.

That sounds like an ok price. I enjoy the 2k series because my 1000 sound died out after years of constant use. it's the best thing if you have to commute, or just don't want to sit down and play your old playstation games pic related. Wish it had a better snes emu though.

I got one and almost all the time im playing whit some emulators, snes its a bit laggy whit some games (Mario rpg) and others in like killers instinct and donkey kong country start to fail after a few minutes, gameboy advance and nes are perfect, n64 the most new emulator barely runs some games and muted.

It didn't sell more than the DS so it failed.

Welcome to /v/ logic. Despite the fact that it sold over 80 MILLION units, it's a failure.

No other competitor to a Nintendo handheld ever reached such a market saturation, but it's a failure.

You mean you've never hooked a PSP Go to a TV and you play Crash Bash with your buddy who uses a Dualshock 3? TV-out is the shit. Your loss anon.

2000 has more RAM than 1000, and sharper colors. 3000 has even better colors. All 3 have 333mhz processor underclocked to 222mhz to extend battery life, but you can crank that back up via cfw. 2000 and 3000 are also more energy-efficient than 1000 so batteries last a little longer. The only real advantage the 1000 has is the infared feature which can be used by IRShell as a universal remote control if you still have any electronics that actually use IR remote control...
