I bought it when it was cheap on the Black Friday sale and actually played the shit out of it. The combat mechanics are a ton of fun, although the enemies/bosses aren't particularly well-designed. It's not an amazing game, but it's a lot better than you'd expect and I definitely found it worth playing. It kinda became the game that I put on just to hack away at things while I listen to music/podcasts and chill.
I've actually almost 100% it without really thinking about it, if I ever get around to beating it on Violent and Berserk it'll be the second game I've ever gotten Platinum on. Which is a little strange, now that I think of it.

Game is pretty alright, although definitely not worth full price. It's kind of fun for the same reason a musou game is fun, although there's a lot more to the combat than those games.
I actually pirated some of the last gen ones with a friend (because we had to see how retarded games with names like "Bikini Zombie Slayers" and "Bikini Samurai Squad" were) and they were unbelievably shit to the point where they were barely even fun in co-op, especially the Wii one that had essentially one-button combat. It's kind of surprising that they actually managed to make good combat mechanics for this one.
