He's supposed to say 'Nanomachines, son!', with emphasis on son. This is what the dialogue means. It means nanomachines are the reason he doesn't die.
But instead, he puts emphasis on Nanomachines. As if the voice actor believes there's a character named Nanomachines and he's referencing his son.
All of these lines in this game and every other MGS game fucking suck. Localization is fucking horrible.
This is why I can't play japanese games. The dialogue is too disconnected and goofy. These people put no effort into their games? Why should I play ever play this trash?
