It looks good. Plays way. Controls are fairly tight and responsive. A little repetitive with the melee and the guns don't feel great to shoot. Some frame drops when a lot of shit going on sometimes.
But the story is interesting and it's for sure a better game than the 44/100 the internet gives it

If you're used to exclusively playing Wii and WiiU shooters with motion controls. You'll going to have a very tough time adapting since the game just uses normal controls.
I know I'm struggling to get kills at a distance because of how imprecise control sticks are. On the other hand I got the AA-12 and am just blowing away every faggot that tries to melee me.

Dark Soul faggotry doesn't apply here. When you're using a scheme you've never used when fighting people who have been doing it all their lives. If the enemies in single player moved like they do in multiplayer or there was a bot version of online, I'd be a bit more forgiving, but trial by fire where you just feed the score of the opponent is shit.

Yeah, it's actually pretty good. Solid combat (Switching between melee and shooting is incredibly smooth) fun bosses, cool settings, actual enemy variety...
I played the tutorial mission four times after I beat the game to try and take the high score. ( was 140...) and I never got tired of it.
