I play a lot of free games actually. I'm sort of addicted to Marvel Heroes, and I play Guild Wars 2 with my friends, which I purchased at launch. I do pirate on occasion, but I can't bring myself to finish the game until I've purchased it. I do however have my steam account shared with my brother, so when he buys games I'll download and play some of them. Even that makes me feel guilty though, because there will be games I've played much more than him.

Yeah, it's not that simple in the US. Something you need to realize is that just because you got something with ease, doesn't mean it's the same story for everyone else. Sometimes you need to be at the right place and the right time, and for everyone person that was so fast, there are people that never lines up for. Law of numbers man.

The m.2 drive i have isn't a true NVMe drive. The two main reasons I got it was because of the form factor (so cute and small, on top of not taking up a regular sata slot and having to deal with cabling), and they were on sale at the time for 150 bucks which was the same as regular 850 Pro SSD.
It's still limited by SATA III 6Gbps, but I don't think you average user/gamer will notice the speed difference in NVMe and SATA III until the tech matures a bit more.
So unless you get price parity like I did, or really want to not deal with cabling, M.2 isn't worth it.

I only spend money for food, clothing and drugs.

I am a 3rd tier pirate, I have not only pirated my video games, but also I've digitally stolen plans to use a 3d printer (which I also pirated) to make my computer and monitor. I have over 300 terabytes of video games alone, 200 more for movies, and 100 for TV shows. I am also fluent in pirate speak, as it is my first language. I will be remembered as one of the greats.

You should change this attitude. Developers are often shit on by their publishers and don't deserve the animosity they get. There are some cases where that's different, and the developer is the publisher as well, or indie games, or they are free to do what they want. But in most cases, it's the publisher who is dicking the consumer and the creator.

Why the contradictions?
Vidya is my main hobby and interest but I blow all of my dosh on mangas, LNs and history books.
I planned to upgrade my GPU but I think I'm gonna give up since my Sandy Bridge is quite outdated too. I also planned to buy a 3DS but its games are expensive as fuck, and barely have sales like Steam.
Fuck, I just realised that vidya is an expensive hobby.

I pirate things on a laptop I got as a highschool graduation present.
Said laptop is now very old and beatup, but I'm heading into my last semester at CC, and I only have one class left, so hopefully I'll be able to get a job next semester and start building a life for myself.
3 semesters of calculus and calc-based physics, as well as some chem and bio, some spanish (Mi espanol esta como Tarzan.), 4 computer science courses, and a bunch of humanities. I have to be good for something, right? I can definitely handle numbers better and faster than anyone I know outside of school.
