i really enjoyed just cause 2. That game is as fun as you make it.

Except Just Cause 2 is a good game. Maybe not the end all be all, but still one of the best sandboxes out there.
The steam sales helped because it's also really well optimized on PC, while being fairly technically impressive for its time.

Well meme'd, friend. It's become fashionable to pretend that JC2 is shit after the flaming train wreck that is JC3, but fuck that. JC2 was awesome.
I gave a shit about it. Its a good GAME, aka it has good GAMEPLAY.

People hate on JC2 because they see its the same as JC3, which is "Big building in the distance you can blow up, go do that". The faggots who hate on JC3 not because of its shit optimisation hate on it because its not some shitfest with a crockpot story and handholding progression. Its a game where you can go around and do whatever the fuck you want.

The only people who hate on JC2 are salty consolefags who never got to play multiplayer. Before the multiplayer mod came out everyone thought it was pretty great but ever since then it's been a shitpost magnet.

Game was fun, doesn't need to be a meme for that. Amped 3 could be clasified as a meme game as well, and it's one of the best games of last gen for me.
