Ill tell ya, its a feeling that i never thought would happen to me.
I always thought "damn, people on /v/ are retarded. picking never evers like Ashley or Daisy. I'd love K.Rool, or Ridley, but im not invested in them."
Every character i had ever desired to see in smash, got in. Back in the first japan time i got Wario and Sonic. This time i got Megaman, Ryu, and my boy Lucas making his return. I even got Bowser Jr, a character i didnt even know i wanted.
I always bet on safe characters. Characters that had a good chance of winning.
I read all the speculation threads thinking to myself, "I am literally the only one here who is going to get the character he wants"
Fucking Inklings. they seemed so obvious. Splatoon was a hit.It was first party also. Being in smash is the ultimate advertising. It would establish splatoon's permanence in the nintendo IPs. It seemed like a no brainer.
Then i got blown the fuck out.
