Nice and comfy on the vita. Had to fudge some of the controls a bit first but its working out fine. I also finished FFIX and FFX on this thing too earlier like last year.

I'm replaying it on PC. Going a bit slow, only just past the first fight with Reno. I've played this initial "still in Midgar" sequence so many times though so it drags a bit for me. Hopefully I can push past it
Yeah, I just started playing it for the first time because of all this remake hype. It's actually my first Final Fantasy. Really liking the music and characters so far in this game. Also, so much fucking Materia to learn. Not sure which is best to use and in what combination.

Protip be careful with the elemental materia. If you know the enemies weakness, then its devastating but if say you leave it on and encounter a boss immune to it, you're fucked. I usually avoid that risk and just take off elemental altogether unless I know for sure I'll remember to reconfigure it after.
