Square Enix are fucking retarded when they showcase games. They shouldn't have shown Kingdom Hearts when their primary project, FFXV, is still being made. And now look what they've gone and done, they fucking revealed FFVIIR so early into development. It's been 10 years since FFXV was revealed and now we're not even getting news on the game because they revealed FFVII.

Ven's sought refute with Sora's heart, twice totally, because he was fucked up by the Vanitas situation and it was to heal the second time they came together. the problem is that the kh 1 and 2 designs are deeply rooted in early 2000's japanese fashion, and this new outfit just looks like a poor emulation. everything is generally the same just less pronounced and toned with minor bizarre slapdash tweaks like the hair. and generally, it jut looks pretty bland and forgettable. that's what happens when you stretch a period series such as this and adapt it to modern times. the ambition and direction becomes muddled and halfhearted.

There's some debate on this because their are interview within days of each other from earlier in the year and some other stuff that contradict each other. I remember that article vaguely, I don't believe it was an interview, might have been a Famtisu summary wherein they grouped both Sora and Riku as having become Masters, but from Nomura's own explanation of the events of the game this would strike me as an editorial error more than anything.
There's likely little to no time between DDD and KHIII, and Sora got the power he needed from the test, being named Master is both unnecessary and against his role.
