At this rate, I think I see a bunch of anon's viewpoint on why she wouldn't be able to get in Smash. A lot of these characters are just super popular, so naturally, the DLC would be based on popular characters in order to sell.
I'll stop blasting about Shantae in Smash. There's no way she can get in. Same goes for Marina, Shovel Knight, Quote, and others.
