Probably Shattered Memories. Didn't like Homecoming at all and I only tried Downpour at a shop, so can't really give an opinion. Honestly, if they haven't put the Silent Hill on SM, it would probably be praised more for what it is.

I've only played Homecoming. Hated it all the way through. The game was quite literally "totally not Jacob's Ladder" - the game with a plot twist seen from a mile away. I tried going through 2 but I got spooked in the apartments and haven't returned to continue it.Why am I such a pussy

Did you play it in the dark? I think you should with these kinds of games, but if it's 2spoops, blasting light everywhere might be a solution.

Pretty sure it was at like 4AM, lol. I will come back to play it during the daytime at some point. Does anyone know how well 1 emulates, and what emulator they use? Been thinking about going through that if I beat 2.

The best thing about Origins is the fact Akira Yamaoka made the OST, but the story is so crap I can't believe they had it not only canonical, but tied to the first game

I still feel like a victim of an abusive relationship. I played everygame in the series, and seeing its total declin as the years went was horrible. Everytime they come back, telling me "ittl be different, we really have gone back to the series you love. Sure I may have gotten a hair cut, but how could I possibly let you down again?". Then I do it. I fucking buy the game. I get kicked in the dick and never want to see it again.
Finally, P.T comes out. Its like my beloved series comes back, looking clean, off the western drugs, getting its life together in a new city, just to be shot down by the yakuza gang members who didnt forget it owed them.
And to set a record straight: Homecoming had shit lore and easy to guess plotline, but it did LOOK good, honestly. The lighting and creatures were pretty good (Not sure on consoles).

has nothing to do with my pc, it runs fine on epsxe.
In both cases it barely uses about 25% of my cpu usage (4.6GHz quad core cpu).
But for some reason the framerate is about 25-50% lower on pcsx-r than on epsxe using the same plugins
