I'll start with an obvious one.

Resistance 2 was better tbqh and the multiplayer was very active throughout the years, It was fun while it lasted. Resistance 3 was.. disappointing to say the least.
I would say R2 was underrated when heavy hitters were in the air at the time.
I'm very curious about Resistance 3, even yatzee a masterracer said it's the poor man's half life 3 (which is actually not bad at all).

Why hasnt Sony rebooted Resistance? It's the one exclusive shooter that can be a contender to Halo.

Resistance 3 had good core mechanics. Healthpacks made the game more hectic, guns were fun.
But everything else was shut. Online co-op worked maybe half the time (and forget about competitive multiplayer, never fucking worked), main story was a big step back from the previous games, enemy ai was also not too fantastic.
Tldr good core game, but it's potential was wasted.

What they should do is reboot Timesplitters and then we will have a contender because of how unique that is to calls of duties.
I fucking loved Resistance 3, my favourite one in the series by far. I didn't hate the first 2 but Nathan Hale had the personality of a cum sock. At least Capelli was somewhat interesting.
Singularity is underrated by far.

Resistance was never a heavy hitter in sales. I think eventually they might go back to the franchise, maybe bring out a remaster of the first 3 to see what the reaction is.

3 was great but mostly because they took shortcuts (Story is HL2, bring back healthpacks because nobody liked 2)
The last Resistance is Burning Skies on the vita, and its horrible, worse than 2, it makes 2 look like the best game ever

That shit was garbage trying to cash in on CoD. Moving at a snails pace and limiting the player to two weapons was horse shit. The story was decent enough to keep me going to the end tho. R3 however was a nice inbetween of 1 and 2's style. The weapon leveling was kinda neat too.

Singularity was neat. Had it on 360. I remember checking the multiplayer last year and saw like 5 dedicated people playing it, they had an online forum and everything, on both 7th gen consoles, it was nice.

The game would be better if the enemies aren't such push over, their abilities should make them terrifying foes, but at the end all you have to do shove a shotgun in their face.

Singularity was some good shit. Would have been cool to see a sequel to tighten up the gameplay where it needed it. And more cool guns like that rifle that lets you guide the bullet, and I think a mine/bomb deployer you could guide as well? Shit was cash.
